Question

We have heard there is road construction near the venue, is this true?

Answer

Sadly yes :( US-31 (the highway where Blue Bridge is located) will be undergoing major construction, and northbound traffic (heading east) will be completely closed. As a result, left turns when exiting the venue will not be permitted. Please anticipate an additional 20–30 minutes of travel time due to detours. To help accommodate guest travel, we have added an additional shuttle bus due to extra drive time.

Are there Ubers available?

Answer

Uber does operate in Traverse City, but availability can be scarce, especially near our venue. At the BlueBridge Event Center, we have been told Ubers are NOT available. Because of this, we will be providing transportation to and from Great Wolf Lodge for our guests. We recommend using the shuttle as your primary transportation option to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Formal. We would like for men to wear a suit and tie. Cam and the groomsmen will be in dark suits. Women may choose a long gown or a dressy cocktail dress.

Where can I park?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available in the main parking lot for all guests. Free overnight parking is welcome if needed.

Will the venue be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be located indoors. If warm enough, we can open awnings for more of an "outdoor feel". There is also a large outdoor covered patio and park area to enjoy throughout the evening.
