COVID Updates and FAQs

Here you'll find the answers to many of the questions you might have and any updates regarding our wedding plans and COVID-19. Please reach out to Traci if you have a question you can't find the answer to here!
Question

What's your plan for COVID-19 Safety?

Answer

We are looking forward to celebrating with you after all of the craziness this last year. With that said, our number one priority remains the health and safety of our guests. While we are not asking for your vaccination status, we hope that you will be respectful of other guests who may have concerns and wear a mask if you are not vaccinated. It is our understanding from talking to our guests that most, if not all, of the guests in attendance will be fully vaccinated and we hope that will also help allay any concerns. Our venue no longer has capacity restrictions or a mask mandate but we will still be leaving additional space between tables and limiting the number of guests at each table in order to ensure everyone's comfort. If you have any additional concerns, please reach out to Traci directly. All is subject to change in accordance with CDC guidelines. We would still love to see you on the dance floor! We can't wait to finally celebrate the way we were supposed to last year!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will be specifically addressed with the names of all invitees. If your invitation includes "and Guest," then you are welcome to bring a date. Please reach out to Traci directly if you have any further specific questions about this.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know if you have any special dietary restrictions. There will be a space available to list these on your RSVP card. We are no strangers to dietary needs and will do our best to work with our venue to make sure accommodations are made.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Our registry is up for you to browse on this website under the “Registry” tab! We appreciate your love and generosity!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Wychmere has ample parking with just a short walk to both the beach ceremony and the reception venue (everything is conveniently located on the same site!). There will also be a golf cart shuttle between the beach and reception room for those in need of assistance (the walk is about 200-300 yards). We ask that you please not use the shuttle unless you need to so that it can be available for guests who require their service.

Can I stay on site where the wedding will be held?

Answer

Technically, the answer to this question is yes. However, the Wychmere only has 12 rooms on site. Please see the great options we’ve secured for you on the “Accommodations” page, including several room blocks. There are also many options for AirBnBs and VRBOs in the area if the idea of renting a house is more appealing to you.
