We recommend planning to be in Japan for 2-3 days around the planned wedding date.

What is the best way to get to Kyoto?

Answer

We recommend flying directly to Osaka (ITM or KIX) airport and taking public transportation or arranging car service to your hotel. Alternatively, you can fly in to Tokyo (HND or NRT), and then take the Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto Station. We recommend the Tokyo route if it works better for your flights, or if you want to spend some time in Tokyo before or after.

Kyoto is relatively a small city so you can chose any hotel that you prefer. We will be staying at the Ace Hotel Kyoto.
