We were legally married in New York in September 2024.
Our City Hall ceremony lasted only about two and a half minutes, so we felt it deserved a proper celebration with the people who mean the most to us. Due to prioritizing immigration procedures, including our Green Card application, we have not yet had the opportunity to hold a formal wedding ceremony. Therefore, we would be honored to host a small celebration in Kyoto, Japan — the hometown of Shiho Matsuoka — to express our gratitude and celebrate this occasion with those who have supported us. We sincerely hope you will be able to join us for this special gathering. The celebration is confirmed to take place on October 18th, 2026 in Kyoto, Japan.
