Hotel
1 of our 2 wedding block options. The Residence Inn is in the middle of downtown Charlottesville. There are many restaurants and bars nearby with lots to do (see our things to do tab!). It is an 8-minute walk from the train station and a 20-minute drive from the airport. There are plenty of Ubers in the area so if you are planning to not drive over the weekend, this would be a good option! Parking passes are $15/day. If you click the link, it will take you to our wedding block with our wedding code already applied.
Hotel
The other wedding block option is located right next to the airport. It is both a 20 minute to downtown Charlottesville and a 20 minute drive to our wedding venue. One perk of Staybridge is that they have kitchens in the rooms if you are looking to cook your own meals. If you click the link, it will take you to a search option with our wedding code (RWB) already applied.
Hotel
Despite both hotel options being great choices, there are also plenty of great Airbnbs in the area! Especially if the cabin setting calls to you. There are many good wineries and hiking trails in the area and some Airbnbs with AMAZING views. Please click the link to get a list of all options in the area.
Train
For folks travelling from New York, New Jersey, and DC there is an Amtrak station in Charlottesville (CVS). Round trip prices from NYP to CVS are currently $43 dollars, but will rise significantly the closer you book to the day of the departure, so we recommend booking as soon as you are ready if train is your preferred mode of travel.
Flight
For people traveling from the west coast there is an airport in Charlottesville (CHO). The airport is right next to one of our wedding hotel blocks, the Staybridge Suites.
Flight
If you're flying to the wedding, you may also want to consider flying into Richmond (RIC). While Charlottesville Airport is closer, Richmond often has a lot more flight options. The Richmond Airport is about a 1h 15min drive from Charlottesville. Other nearby airports include Dulles, Reagan, or BWI, but will require longer drives or an additional train transfer.
