Wedding Ceremony & Reception

5:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Semi-formal/garden party attire. The ceremony will take place on grass, so keep that in mind for shoe selection!

If you are taking the shuttle to the venue, the buses will arrive at the hotels at 4pm and leave promptly at 4:10pm! There will be a cocktail hour with some light bites before the reception. The ceremony (20-30 min) will take place on a grass field (weather permitting!), so expect some sun. The cocktail hour will take place around a covered porch, and the reception will take place in the barn.

Volleyball & Lawn Games

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Athletic Wear

A very casual, fun event - totally optional. Feel free to show up for any part of the event. We've reserved two sand volleyball courts on UVA's campus, and will have some lawn games set up (likely spike ball, Kan Jam, cornhole, etc.)! Feel free to bring any of your favorite lawn games as well. We're catering a mix of sandwiches/subs to have at the event. **Please note that NO ALCOHOL is allowed on UVA's property. If you'd like to bring any refreshments/drinks to the event, feel free, but please do NOT bring any alcoholic beverages. :) Remember to bring water, sunscreen and lawn chairs (if you'd like them). There is some shade in the area, but be prepared to be out in the sun.
