Michael's brother and Thunder Buddy, Tony is an orthopedic surgeon completing his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Tony is the best brother a guy could ask for, and the two of them have shared a lot of good times growing up together. Michael had to learn to ski for Tony's bachelor party, so Michael is going to make sure Tony learns something during Michael's bachelor party! He and his wife Courtney have a beautiful daughter named Blake (2 yrs.) and are expecting a baby boy in May.
Eva Szilvagyi
Matron of Honor
Eva is Natalie’s older sister. Eva is an endearingly awkward introvert whose depth of understanding and tolerance knows no bounds. She is the ideal middle child as she can always see both sides to an argument and keep the peace. Eva and her husband, Gorman Christian, have three girls: Guinevere (6), Josephine (5), and Ramona (19 mo.). They live in Mount Prospect with their two cats, Michi’s grey daughter Tesla and a ginger stray named Hubble.
John Pham
Groomsman
One of the three members of 3DNC, which is basically The Three Musketeers only no one is French. Pham and Michael met in the Summer Soccer Society, a good group of like-minded cool people who used to play soccer every week in the summer, but are now on a hiatus. Pham and Michael have traveled the world (but mostly just Europe) and have appeared together in such popular YouTube videos as "LSD" and "There's Nothing Funny about Getting Lost in Limerick." John and his amazing wife Megan are expecting their first child in May. They live in Lincoln Square with their cat Quigley.
Monica Szilvagyi

Monica is Natalie’s oldest sister. Natalie stole Monica’s baby doll’s blanket when she was little and is sorry. Monica was Natalie’s inspiration to learn Japanese as she is extremely gifted with languages, participating in the EGHS Japanese exchange in 1998 and speaking both French and Spanish. Monica is a science teacher now, so maybe Natalie inspired her right back! She is the loving mother of Violeta (11) and patient owner of Michi, a cat who may be grey or just incredibly dirty.
Matt Gerton
Groomsman
Michael met Matt in the Summer Soccer Society and they formed 3DNC with their friend John Pham. Though they both love Babymetal and other excellent metal bands, they have yet to go to a concert together. Matt also doesn't share Michael's taste in beer, but no one really does anyway. Here's hoping we get another 3DNC trip next year! Matt lives in Lincoln Square.
Nicki Ciura
Bridesmaid
Nicki is one of Natalie’s oldest and best friends and a great grounding comfort to her. They met in junior high school and have stayed close throughout the years despite multiple life changes, someone only drinking something called “Bud Light,” and occasionally long distances between them. Nicki is a veterinarian who lives in Elk Grove Village a mere stone's throw from her parents' house with her husband Pete, son Peter (3), daughter Lucy (18 mo.), and their two dogs, Daisy and Smokey.
David Jones
Groomsman
David Jones, a.k.a. Diva, met Michael at work, and he immediately offered him a dairy-based shot. Despite owning a VW and constantly making terrible life decisions, David has become one of Michael's best friends because they both share a love of smoked meats and Wisconsin beers. David lives in Wisconsin with his girlfriend Stephanie, who has been one of David's few good decisions, and dog, Buddy the Wonder Mutt.
Amy Curcio

Amy is one of Natalie’s oldest and best friends and the only person who has smaller feet. They met in junior high school and share a love of dark beer and a dislike of short person problems. Amy is a registered dietician who lives with her husband Mark and lanky double doodle, Larry, in Oak Park. Amy likes to run with her crew Three Run Two, bake incredible breads with her sourdough starter, Wilma, and unwind at her family's cabin in Wisconsin.
Richy Sandberg

Michael's best friend from high school, Richy and Michael bonded in gym class over volleyball and the Chicago Cubs. Richy got Michael into ska music and the two of them skanked their way through haunted cemeteries and rock concerts. The BMT is getting hitched! Richy lives in Elk Grove Village with his wife Jessica, son Maddux (1), and three dogs - Belle, Jax and Florence. Check out his house next Christmas!
Michelle Logli

Michelle is Michael’s younger sister (and Natalie’s soon-to-be sister-in-law!) and as he says, “the best of us.” She is the nicest person you’ll ever meet with a heart so big you’ll wonder how it fits inside her. Michelle has been raising her labradoodle, Odie, while working as the bone marrow transplant nurse navigator at Lutheran General Hospital. She lives in Edison Park and inspired Michael to buy his own condo in Edison Park as well.
Violeta Lubianos Szilvagyi

Violeta, or Tata, as Natalie calls her, is Natalie’s oldest niece at eleven years old. Violeta is a sixth grader who sews, speaks Spanish, and designs clothes. She loves reading about strong female characters, writing stories (and hosting her own Master Class!) and swinging on the swingset Boopah built her at home. She is the daughter of Monica Szilvagyi and Luis Lubianos Ortiz.
Jack Soper

Jack is Michael's nephew, is 7 years old and enjoys hiking and fishing. He also loves playing basketball and jumping on his trampoline! He likes building and fixing stuff with his dad. His parents are Kim and Nate Soper, Michael's sister and brother-in-law.
Guinevere Christian
Flower Girl
Guinnie is six years old and loves to play Mastermind with Michael, but not with Natalie, and she gets better every time they play. She likes hugs, riding her bicycle, roller skating, and making decisions. She is the oldest daughter of Eva Szilvagyi and Gorman Christian.
Charlie Soper

Charlie is Michael's nephew, is 7 years old and loves catching frogs. He likes playing basketball and jumping on his trampoline. He's lucky to have such wonderful aunts and uncles! He is the son of Kim and Nate Soper, Michael's sister and brother-in-law.
Josephine Christian

Jojo is five years old and loves chocolate. She is a fantastic storyteller and will narrate her life to anyone who will listen. She likes her curls, swimming, and pretending to be a puppy. She is the middle daughter of Eva Szilvagyi and Gorman Christian.
