Maid of Honor
Ana and Leslie met in Denver, CO through mutual friends. Ana is a small animal veterinarian in Castle Pines and also enjoys playing hockey, snowboarding, and hiking. She introduced Leslie to the world of hockey. Today, Ana and Leslie are always up for having a great time, including traveling, Colorado Avalanche games, grabbing a beer, and finding the best restaurants. Ana currently lives in Aurora, CO (close to Leslie and Mike) with her boyfriend Boris and his son Mason.
Best Man
Luke, a Colorado native, is Mike's former brother-in-law. They have been very close friends since they met and were roommates for many years in Littleton, CO. Luke loves all things Colorado, including snowboarding, breweries, and sporting events. Luke and Mike regularly meet up for dinner, grab beers at local dive bars, and have an ongoing FIFA Xbox rivalry. Luke works for Lockheed Martin and lives in Aurora, CO with his dog Daisy.
Bridesmaid
Diana and Leslie met in high school in Eugene, OR. Diana was the new girl at the school and didn't know anyone, so Leslie quickly took her under her wing and made sure Diana was hanging out with the best people. Diana is also the person who suggested to Leslie that she go to veterinary school. The rest is history. Diana is an electrical engineer who enjoys owning her own business. She also enjoys clamming at the Oregon coast, various arts and crafts, and eating junk food. She lives in Beaverton, OR with her husband John and their daughter Lucy.
Groomsman
Brian, Leslie’s younger brother, first met Mike through the world of video games. Brian, Mike and Leslie play the competitive video game Apex Legends on a regular basis. Brian and Mike often team up against Leslie when she tries to dethrone Mike as the IGL (in game leader). In addition to gaming, Brian also enjoys dog training, hunting, and spending time with family. Brian owns his own dog boarding and training business. He currently lives in Eugene, OR with his dogs Coolidge and Khloe.
Bridesmaid
Megan and Leslie met in college in Seattle, WA. They lived on the same floor in the dorms, but Megan had the largest dorm room at the end of the hall, so everyone hung out there. Megan and Leslie then lived together off campus during their upperclassman years. Today, Megan provides Leslie valuable life advice when needed and also a crash pad for Leslie and Mike when they are visiting Seattle. Megan works in the registrar's office at The Bush School, a private school in Seattle. Megan currently lives with her husband, Chris, their son, Sam, and their dog, Coco, in Seattle, WA.
Groomsman
Mark, Leslie’s former brother-in-law, first met Mike when he came to visit Denver, CO for a coffee expo. They hit it off immediately and have talked video games, coffee, and sports every since. Mike and Leslie have traveled to DC several times to visit Mark, where he is the perfect tour guide to the city's historical sites, trendiest pop up bars, and best restaurants. Mark works for the USDA and loves travel, breweries, video games, and staying active. He currently lives in New Delhi, India with his wife Virginia.
Mother of the Bride
Janet was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and was delighted to discover Oregon in 1973. An educator for 35 years, she retired in 2006. Always supportive of Habitat for Humanity and seeing the benefits for her own students in Junction City, Janet volunteered and served on the JC Habitat Board for six years. In 2007 she began teaching remedial reading at Eugene Waldorf and stayed for five years. She enjoys traveling, hiking her beautiful state, sewing, and beading and is currently living in Eugene, OR.
Father of the Bride
Curtis was born in Los Angeles, California and spent the first 30 years of his life in California. In 1978 he moved to Oregon, had a four year adventure living in Inuit villages of Alaska, and then moved back to Eugene, where he has lived ever since. He received his Masters of Education from USC and a Masters of Counseling from the University of Oregon. He worked in the field of education for 49 years. After retiring, he worked at Ridgeline Montessori as a consulting counselor for 13 enjoyable years. He enjoys hiking, long walks, exercise, tennis, travel, reading, and watching most any type of TV series.
