One evening, 4 years ago, Michael had gotten off a particularly tedious day at work and met Kim at the Town Pump in Fort Collins, where they were living at the time- not the town pump, but rather Fort Collins. He had brought a bag of tacos for himself and the most healthy item he could think of for Kim, a bowl of mashed potatoes with corn and fried chicken finger. They stared lovingly into each others eyes and discussed their boring day of work over a beverage. Then Kim looked into Michael's eyes and said, "isn't it leap year, this year?" and he said, "yes, it is"... "you know we have been looking for a day that wasn't already someone's birthday or wedding anniversary, and where there was still snow on the ground for skiing....what about leap day?!" to which Michael replied, "so does this mean we are engaged?"... "yes, I suppose it does" :D
