Can we bring our kids?

We love your kids, but unfortunately we're having an adults only wedding.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes. Our ceremony and reception are both at the Lake Placid Club. Our cocktail hour will begin following our ceremony.

Is the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside under pavilions. If the weather is cold (which is possible for Lake Placid in June) we will have a few outdoor heaters running. The reception will be indoors in the club house.

Will there be transportation to and from the ceremony/reception?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation due to the close proximity of the venue location. Our ceremony and reception location is about .7 miles from both the Crowne Plaza and Golden Arrow. You may walk if you choose, and there will be maps highlighting the route from the hotels in your welcome bags. If you choose to drive there, and do not wish to drive back, cars may be left there overnight as long as they are picked up in the morning.

What should I wear?

Answer

If I had to give a label I would say cocktail attire. As the night goes on, please feel free to kick off your heels and take off your tie. More than anything we want you to spend the night being comfortable!
