We're getting married!

Michael and I met at work during the Summer of 2014. He'd been working as an Account Supervisor and I as an Associate Director of Talent Acquisition. We'd gotten to know each other while working closely on building his team. I was instantly attracted to his sense of humor and how easy it was to communicate with him. A few months had passed when I finally worked up the courage to invite him to a Tough Mudder event, which I was attending with my friend Diana early that fall. After four rigorous hours of treading through the mud in the pouring rain, lifting me over walls, running through electric wires, I knew there was a soulful connection. We had our first date two months later over soup dumplings in Chinatown, followed by dessert at Little Cupcake Bakeshop in Nolita. We were having so much fun and laughed the entire evening! Soon after, it was clear we wanted to be more than just teammates. The rest is history...
