A great place to take a stroll! While you're there check out our favorite brewery MadeWest for a good craft beer with a view. Save some room for Beach House Tacos, the best seafood tacos in the area. We recommend the Marilu Shrimp Taco (Christina's favorite) and the Baja Fish Taco (Michael's favorite).
Christina's favorite beach in the area! Hidden in the cliffs next to Zuma Beach, you'll need to make a little trek down a flight of stairs to get there. Time it right- when the tide is low, if you want to lay out on the beach. Otherwise, just enjoy the spectacular view. Parking is limited and beware of parking tickets (Christina learned the hard way).
Michael's favorite place to be! Sterling Hills is the most popular public golf course in Camarillo. The 18 holes are wonderfully laid out while offering a fair level of difficulty - especially Michael's favorite hole to hate, no. 7. If you run into Michael on the course on Saturday morning, please remind him the wedding starts at 3!
Our favorite restaurant and place to celebrate. Great drinks, seafood, and desserts. We recommend the Fanny Bay oysters (Michael's favorite), the crab cake salad and a cup of clam chowder (Christina's favorite). They also do a great happy hour if you get there early enough.
Christina's favorite place to shop. With over 150 stores and great deals, you really will shop till you drop. Be sure to check out Nike, Lulu Lemon, Ralph Lauren, and J. Crew (just some of our favorites).
For all of our out of town guests- we know it's cliche but we know you can't come all the way out to California without grabbing a double double and animal fries- don't know what this is...just trust us! Don't eat meat? Christina recommends the grilled cheese which she swears is even better than the burger!
Pamper yourself with a spa day! The Spa at the Four Seasons has a wide variety of spa and wellness services to choose from. While you are there be sure to spot Christina's office directly across the street at the Hilton Foundation.
Our favorite place to grab a glass of wine and a charcuterie board (the black truffle cheese is to die for). Enjoy the evening in their beautiful outdoor area, with vineyards, waterfalls, fire pits, bocce ball, and live music. Michael says it was here that he knew for certain he was in love with Christina.
Feeling up for a hike? This 2.85 mile hike along the Pacific Coast Highway, which ascends 900 staggering feet over 0.6 miles, is not for the faint of heart. But with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from above the clouds, the view at the top is well worth it (according to Christina... Michael may say otherwise).
Our favorite little beach shack in Malibu with fantastic seafood. Enjoy a beer and a basket of fried shrimp while watching the bikers ride in!
The best spot for brunch! Although the wait is always long, you can sip on mimosas/bloody marys and watch the planes land 100 yards away. For all you Bachelor fans, this is the airport they use to jet off on their one-on-one dates.
The Collection has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. With well known favorites such as The Cheesecake Factory, Larson's Steakhouse, and Gen Korean BBQ...Michael will always recommend Maria's Italian Kitchen for the meatballs. Can't agree on one place, head to the Annex Food Hall which has many different options from ramen to tacos. Enjoy the night life with drinks at Yardhouse or head to Levity Live for stand up comedy or Copper Blues for live music.
