Officiant
Chris and Camille met during their studies at the University of Vermont. They were both history majors who were interested in pursuing medicine, while Chris realized that public health and clinical research were more to his taste, they shared many happy moments both in and out of the classroom. They were also members of the rowing team and the early morning practices were brightened by the quality time spent together on the Lamoille. The last two years of their studies were spent living together in their cozy apartment on North Union Street, filled with many a late night and early morning and more laughs, empty bottles of Prosecco, and egg cartons too numerous to be counted. Their friendship has endured and strengthened through the years despite now living on different continents. Their love of travel and gracious living has taken them to France, Britain, and Croatia, each place a cherished thread in the ever-evolving tapestry of their friendship. Chris is delighted to be a part of this exciting milestone in both Camille’s and Michael’s relationship. Having been there from the first few tentative dates during the couple's undergraduate years, Chris is so excited to see them embarking on this next step in what will surely be a long and prosperous life together. Despite the distance, he’ll always keep Camille and Michael close in heart and look forward to the many happy years to come.
Maid of Honor
Estelle and Camille met at a very young age, given that they are sisters and met at Estelle's birth. A consistent disruption to Camille's only-child life, Estelle eventually became Camille's steadfast and trusted companion at creek stomping, field roaming, and hide-and-no-seek. Estelle treasures the kind and loving wisdom and happy energy her sister radiates 24/7, and can't wait to welcome Michael and his loved ones into the family as, all together, we celebrate their marriage.
Best Man
Will has happily been Michael’s sidekick for about 26 years now. Will has played a lot of roles, from whittling assistant, to video game commentator, to King of the Hill (though only briefly). The brothers have hiked from Vermont to Canada (more or less) and have camped under meteor showers. They have traced rivers and planned expeditions that were way too ambitious for any teenagers to dare embark on. Michael and Will have fished endlessly, with moderate success. Will is so thankful to have had a companion in all these journeys, and he looks forward to seeing what adventures come next. Trying to keep up with Michael has been one of the great joys of Will's life, and he will happily continue to do so, as long as it’s not at the bottom of some cave.
Bridesmaid
Alexa first met Camille (and Pushkin) during one of the most meaningful/stressful times of their lives—medical school. Their friendship was strengthened through the countless miles they ran together, training for both half and full marathons. Camille is the type of friend who comes up with an idea and kindly asks Alexa to join, though they both know the asking is more out of politeness—because the answer is always yes. That has been the foundation of their friendship: unwavering support. On her special day with Michael, Alexa is honored to stand by their side and to continue supporting this new chapter of their lives, along with Pushkin and Meriwether
Bridesmaid
Carolyn first met Camille in 2019, when her brother, Michael, brought her to meet his parents. Right off the bat, Camille was so supportive, bubbly, and caring, remembering things Carolyn told her about herself and about her friends, things that Carolyn doesn't even remember about them...maybe she has a Carolyn Quizlet. It would be very on-brand. Over the years, Camille and Carolyn have been together for Thanksgivings, birthdays, Fourth of Julys, and winter breaks. She shows up with kindness, support, top-tier advice, and always, ALWAYS her sippy cup. Through every transition Carolyn's gone through and every major change in her life since she was thirteen, Camille has been a steady and present constant for her. Watching her and Michael grow together has been such a blessing, and Carolyn couldn't think of anybody else who she'd rather be her big sister.

Doris and Camille met in the fall of 2016 at the University of Vermont when Camille joined the men’s rowing team. Doris was already a coxswain for the men’s team, and it was there that she also got to know Michael! After a few days of practice, Doris invited Camille to coffee at Henderson’s to get to know each other better, and the rest is history! Over years of 5 am wake-ups and frigid mornings on the Lamoille River, countless pots of tea and scones at Mirabelle's, many girls’ nights out and even more girls’ nights in, Doris and Camille became the best of friends. Doris’ favorite memories with Camille are the early morning drives to regattas on the back roads of Vermont listening to music and talking while everyone one else in the van slept. Now Doris lives in Somerville, MA with her husband Dan and their cat Bernard, and catch-ups with Camille look different. Phone calls, FaceTimes, and hand written notes keep them close, along with spontaneous trips to Florence and quick overnight layovers in Boston. In November, 2025 Camille stood with Doris at her wedding, and now Doris can’t wait to stand with Camille in May, 2026!

Emily first met Camille at the first-year medical student picnic at the very start of medical school. Camille complimented Emily’s butterfly shirt and the rest was history. Camille and Emily have been close companions since then. From late night study sessions to co-hosting dinner parties, they have been side by side. Camille will join Emily by her side at her wedding in April 2026, and Emily is honored to stand by Camille the following month! Emily could not be happier for Camille as she enters this next chapter of life!

Olivia met Camille their first year in medical school and immediately sought her out as a friend because she is one of the wittiest, kindest, and most effervescent humans she’s ever met. Together they have enjoyed countless excellent meals, finished some delightful bottles of wine, and enjoyed all things ~aesthetic~. Olivia is drawn to Camille’s sense of adventure and her strength — Camille literally pulled Olivia through strong ocean currents when snorkeling together in Puerto Rico. She loves the whimsy and magic Camille brings to every space she inhabits (also, she introduced Olivia to her beloved fairy literature). She adores Michael — Camille deserves someone as kind, patient, and thoughtful as him. (And, she envies that Camille has a built-in handyman and carpenter for life.) Olivia feels so lucky to call Camille one of her best friends. She cannot wait to go through life witnessing the love of this amazing couple grow.

A native Vermonter living in Burlington, Andrew attended the University of Vermont where he met Michael on the rowing team. Andrew continues to enjoy skiing and mountain biking with his trail dog Maya, Michael’s replacement.
Groomsman
Ben's relationship with Michael goes way back to their early days of rowing at UVM their freshman year. As one of two high school rowers on the team, it did not take them long to start spending practices talking about their shared hobbies and similar upbringings. Like many of the people Ben met at UVM, Michael and he discovered they'd grown up just fifteen minutes apart in neighboring towns. They first got to know each other on a crisp Vermont fall evening, as they waited seven hours for the delayed Greyhound bus heading for Boston to watch the Head of the Charles regatta. The pair spent a majority of the 7 hours talking about common interests and how Michael was globally ranked in Counter Strike. It would not take Ben long to feel incredibly close to Michael as their relationship as teammates and friends continued to grow. From fishing on Lake Lure during their rowing spring break trips, to going on hikes and drinking suspicious trail water that seemed to agree with Michael and Will but not Ben. Ben has loved being able to stay close to Michael over all of these years. He looks forward to seeing Michael and their coxswain, Camille, agree to spend the rest of their lives honoring each other's commitment to love one another and their many cats!

Michael and Marty met while rowing during their freshman year at the University of Vermont. They quickly became close friends through shared music tastes, outdoor pursuits, niche YouTube videos, and an occasional bit of mischief. The pair spent a few years after graduation in Burlington, and during that period Marty got to know Camille better. They spent many winter weekends skiing at Bolton Valley and throwing historically themed dinner parties. These days Michael and the majority of the friend group primarily keep in touch through chatting while playing online computer games. Despite their geographical differences, Marty and Michael's friendship has remained strong. They have had great fun over the years planning trips and catching up!

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Sean met Michael on the University of Vermont rowing team, where they bonded over Dunkin’ iced coffee, IPAs, and plenty of hours spent training — both on the erg and in the gym. What started as teammates and workout partners turned into a friendship that’s stood the test of time.
