Wear comfortable clothes, the beach will be chilly (wetsuits will be provided)!
Join us for a surf session at 1 pm with Rossnowlagh Surf School, right on the beach beside the Sandhouse Hotel. It’s about a 15-minute drive from the hotel, and transport will not be provided. Wetsuits and boards will be waiting when you arrive, so please plan to get there about 15 minutes early to get organised. The lesson lasts around an hour and starts with a short tutorial on the sand before heading into the (cold!) Atlantic. There will be a tent on the beach for belongings and a fresh-water shower for rinsing off afterward, but facilities are basic, so you may prefer to head back to the hotel afterward to warm up. Please RSVP only if you plan to surf, as spaces are limited. If you’d prefer to stay dry, you’re very welcome to come along to watch. Rossnowlagh is a beautiful spot for a walk, a coffee at the Sandhouse Hotel, or a warm seat in one of the beach saunas while watching the waves.

Formal Attire
We can’t wait to celebrate with you! A bus will depart from The Great Northern Hotel at 1:00 PM to take everyone to the ceremony. After the church, we’ll stop by the pub next door for a drink before the bus brings us back to the hotel for a drinks reception ahead of dinner and dancing. Please RSVP separately for the wedding and for the bus, so we can get an accurate headcount and make sure everyone has a seat on the day.

We’d love for you to join us on Day Two to keep the celebrations going with live music, finger food, and plenty of laughs. We’ll be in the Chasin Bull, just a short walk from the Great Northern Hotel. Festivities start at 6:00 PM, and we can’t wait to see everyone again for another great night!

For those still around, we’re wrapping up the weekend with a group boat tour to Sliabh Liag Cliffs, some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe! The trip offers stunning views of the rugged coastline and a unique perspective from the water. It’s weather dependent, and transportation will be provided. The bus will depart from the Great Northern Hotel at 12:30 PM, with time on the water from 2:00 to 3:45 PM. On the way back, we’ll stop at a pub for food and drinks, so it’ll be a relaxed, all-day outing. Please RSVP so we can confirm numbers for the boat and transport
