The Atlantic Ocean! Corolla offers beautiful wide, white sand beaches. You can try your hand at beach driving and explore the 4WD area or hit up any of the non-driving beaches south of the ramp. Guests staying at the main hotel can use the Persimmon Street access, which is a private street access, as well as the public beach access two streets over which has parking, restrooms and a lifeguard stand.
Take a trip to see the beautiful wild horses roaming freely on the beach. Drive your own 4WD vehicle up the beach in search of the horses, or take a guided tour and learn the history of these beautiful animals.
