Bride
We are so how excited and blessed to have so many amazing family members and friends who get to help us celebrate! We couldn't have done this without the help and support of all of you! Whether in person or just in your hearts we appreciate all who have had an impact on our lives!
Groom
We're so thankful for everyone who has helped us grow into our incredible relationship! We wouldn't be where we are in life without amazing family and friends to guide us along the way. Please help us celebrate our past as we've grown, and our future in a long and love-filled life!
Maid of Honor
We met through a mutual high school friend on the lake and instantly connected through our humor and energy. Some of our favorite memories together include crazy activities like neon color runs and inflatable events which usually had some kind of tie-dye attire. Though we have been multiple states away for grad school, we have always made time for the typical "5" minute phone calls. If you run into Hana at the party, make sure you ask her about different tie-dyeing techniques, bridezillas on Say Yes to the Dress, and all of the exotic zoo animals she has held (and yes she will have pictures).
Best Man
Two shy, young men walked into the Hughes Center on day one of freshman year band camp; not knowing how incredible of friends we would become over the next 7 years. Matthew and I grew close bonding on band trips, in aviation classes, and attending all sorts of campus events and career fairs. Matt has been my best friend, and the person who has seen the thick and thin of our entire relationship. If he could be in two places at once, there's NO doubt that he would be standing on both sides of the aisle on our wedding day! If you run into Matt at the party, make sure to ask him about his recent travels, craft beers, Colorado, and of course airplanes!
Maid of Honor
We met during orientation on our first days as graduate students and the rest has been history. We have spent countless hours studying together, going on walks, and testing out every coffee place within 5 miles of our school. We decided to spontaneously go on a week long road trip to the Grand Canyon (thanks for NOBODY telling us that would be a bad idea) and now have countless stories to tell. The 4 years we have been friends have built the foundation for a lifetime of memories! If you run into Courtney at the party, make sure you ask her about her favorite scenes from The Office, weightlifting, living in Texas, and her kitty cat Luka!
Groomsman
I met Louis in 2007. I had just moved to Pierre, SD and was in a brand new school with all new kids. That summer, during our day care, Louis showed me a video called "Mysterious Ticking Noise" by the Potter Puppet Pals; in that moment, I knew this was one of the coolest kids I'd ever meet. Throughout high school, Louis and I were almost always together; we were in theater productions, band concerts, and choir competitions all throughout our careers. Since college, we've both grown a lot into our own lives, but Louis will always remain one of my greatest friends. When you see Louis, ask him about his wonderful children, acting, and Disney World!
Bridesmaid
We met at band camp at UND and became known as the "two giggly girls". We frequented the Grand Forks Applebee's regularly for dollar drinks and NEVER missed a movie night. The jokes are always flowing when we are together and we always knew how to throw a good game night party. If you run into Claire at the party, make sure you ask her about her work as a CO, playing the trumpet, and golf.
Groomsman
Nathan Eversole is one of the most animated and goofy people I've ever met. We met at Christus Rex, during our time at UND and eventually became roommates for almost 2 years of school (our second year was 2020, and we all know how that turned out). Nathan and I hung out a lot through many of our church activities; ski trips to Red Lodge, Washington D.C. spring break, and packing meals for Feed my Starving Children. When not talking about our flight lessons, we spent nights up MUCH longer than we should have been, playing Xbox and yelling at how obviously the game had to be bad... Not us, right? If you run into Nathan, ask him about flight instructing, snowboarding, Xbox, and the dankest memes.
Bridesmaid
Growing up we spent almost all of our time together outside (it didn't matter the season). In the summer we lived in the water. In the winter we built snow forts for hours at a time. As we got older, we spent more time together on the court, both playing volleyball and basketball. Moving away for college was the first time we had really separated. Now, I have been blessed that she has given me not just a beautiful niece, but a goddaughter as well. If you run into Caitlin at the party, make sure you ask her about how to tune out countless hours of CocoMelon, her latest tv show to binge, and the princess Esme Rose.
Groomsman
Austin, Louis, and I were the three musketeers in Pierre during high school... If by three musketeers, you mean some choir kids who always got on our director's nerves because we couldn't stop laughing at each other's jokes in the middle of rehearsals. Austin and I became great friends through theater and choir, but we also grew close at Ambassador's camp in Vermillion. Austin was the man who never had a bad attitude. He was always smiling, always laughing, and always had something nice to say about any situation. He taught me a lot about how to be a great friend to everyone you meet. If you see Austin during the day, ask him about music, Harvard, or the color orange!
Bridesmaid
Even though I will soon share a last name with Tess, we have been family for a long time already. Since the first time I met Grant's family, they have all accepted me as one of their own. I am so excited to gain this wonderful girl as a sister. We already have many memories together on the river, at the Pierre rodeo, and on an unexpectedly long car ride across South Dakota after blowing a tire. If you run into Tess at the party, make sure you ask her about scuba diving, sea creatures, and the Golf Cart Incident of 2018.
Groomsman
Brent and I probably don't remember the first time we met. As cousins, we wouldn't have been able to avoid each other even if we wanted to. Brent is the guy that made me look forward to all of our family gatherings. We would ride the four-wheelers all around his pasture, ride horses up and down the hill, and play games without even caring about winning... We just wanted to mess around and make it as funny as possible. Brent and I are very different with our interests and hobbies, but he is still one of my favorite cousins, and one of my longest and best friends. If you see Brent, talk to him about hunting, the Red Wings, or grapes (make sure he's had a drink or two before this one!)
Bridesmaid
Our family is going to have so many sisters! It has been so fun to laugh and hang out with this beautiful girl. Whether it was staying up late in hotel rooms playing trivia games, swimming on the river, or having movie days, we never cease to have a good time. I feel so honored to be gaining another younger sister. If you run into Meg at the party, make sure you ask her about her song about Tess, the cutest cowboys, and the Golf Cart Incident of 2018.
Groomsman
Tristan and I met in Highmore, SD, attending the same day care as kids. I was too young to remember the exact time we met, but as long as I can remember Tristan was my best friend all throughout my time in Highmore. From racing in the yard, to swimming at the pool in the summer, we were always messing around and laughing at each other. We definitely fought too. I preferred range attacks, throwing shoes and sunglasses at him from afar; he chose to get in close and fight with hand-to-hand combat. I don't remember any of the reasons we'd be fighting, but I'm glad we didn't let it affect us as adults now. Tristan is my first, and longest friend, and we still keep in touch to talk, even today. Unfortunately, Tristan has been deployed with the Army, and won't be able to attend. I'm not any less grateful for the wonderful friend he's been to me, and I'm extremely proud to have him as an honorary groomsman!
Mother of the Bride
What bride doesn't love her mama! If you know me you know that my mom is my #1 supporter. We constantly have 3 hour long phone calls. We bond over DIY projects and gifts, going on long walks, and watching comedy movies together while we both cry from laughing so hard. I see so much of her in myself. From enjoying baking and my creativity, to my empathy and kindness, she instilled in me the values and traits that make me a better person. If you see Pam at the party, make sure you ask her about her favorite Step Brothers quotes, what thrilling novel she is currently reading, her latest Pinterest projects, and her "famous" mac and cheese.
Mother of the Groom
I'm lucky to have such a strong, incredible woman as my mother. My mom taught me so much about loving others, as she had SO much love to give to me and my sisters. We would talk for hours into the night, and she always had the best advice to give me about life. Taking my mom up for a flight in Pierre was one of the greatest times I've had with her, and only a small gift compared to everything she's taught me over the years! If you see Cindy at the wedding, ask her about the 49ers, waterskiing, and her favorite animals.
Father of the Bride
Growing up many of my favorite memories include spending quality time with my dad. Whether it was hanging out on the basketball court, fishing on the boat, or walking some field with our favorite hunting buddy Shiloh, we always had a great time. He was always my biggest cheerleader and in the front row at all of my many MANY (sorry) events. If you run into Mike at the party, make sure you ask him about the Green Bay Packers, fishing, hunting, and his Mopar.
Father of the Groom
My dad is the greatest teacher I have ever had. He taught me how to love and care for random strangers. He taught me how to be the best person I can be. He taught me how to appreciate what I have, and to never take anything for granted; but he also taught me my worth, and how to fight and stick up for what I deserve. My dad has the best jokes, and the BEST homemade apple pie! If you run into Don, ask him about rattlesnakes, handguns, the Steelers, and his favorite son!
Usher
Emily was another band buddy of both of us! As a fellow trumpet player, we made many good memories playing at shows and games, hanging out for long trips on buses, and spending endless hours on the practice field. It was meant to be that we all became lifelong friends and we are now lucky enough to be settled down in the same town! If you see Emily at the party, be sure to ask her about vague card games, driving the train at the Bismarck zoo, and for the best band stories!
Usher
AJ is my cousin, and a great friend to always have around! AJ knows everything about how to keep a conversation alive, and is always interested in learning about your favorite hobby. I'm so glad that he is my family, and couldn't be happier to have such a great man to pick as an usher! If you see AJ, ask him about acting and riding four wheelers!
Flower Girl
You will know this little peanut anywhere! She has found her voice and sure knows how to use it. She is speedy quick and is interested in everything and anything. She is our one and only niece and goddaughter and both of us are so in love with her! Esme will chat your ear off about her grandparents doggies, sensory Youtube videos, swimming in the lake, and jumping!
Ring Bearer
This little guy has been so much fun to spend time with! Between going to the "dinosaur station" (aka the Heritage Center) or learning about how awesome all the Paw Patrol dogs are, this guy knows how to keep you entertained. He is also the biggest sweetheart with is sister and other cousins. If you see Mylo at the party be sure to ask him all about dinosaurs, his dogs Bolt and Tucker, and his sister Vivian!
