St Elmo Ghost Town & Chipmunks
If you have time to explore, we suggest a visit here! It is right up the road from our venue and a beautiful drive to enjoy the fall colors. This historic mountain town is known for its charming buildings, beautiful scenery, and famously friendly chipmunks that you can feed! On your drive, look for a turn off to "Chalk Lake", that is where we got engaged!

This is where we went on our first date after skiing at Monarch! Our go-to orders are the Pan E Tacchino panini and the Bianco pizza (add cream cheese). Great for lunch & dinner.
Boathouse Cantina
This is the restaurant Mikey worked at when he first moved to Salida before being hired by the Salida Police Department. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Mikey's favorite beer is the SBC Diego Mexican Lager! Great for lunch & dinner.
