Visit the Inner Harbor at the Heart of Baltimore! The waterfront is lined with restaurants, shopping, and attractions such as the National Aquarium and Maryland Science Center. The area is super walkable (7 miles from end to end) and you can explore the harbor itself on a water taxi or harbor cruise.

Located in Baltimore's Inner Harbor, it's ranked as one of the best aquariums in the country! The aquarium houses exhibits on tropical rainforests, Australia, Blacktip Reef, jellyfish, and sharks. The aquarium is open every day from 9am - 6pm and the cost is $50 to enter.

Visit Fort McHenry, the birthplace of our National Anthem! Fort McHenry is a National Park site. The grounds around it are open to the public, and it costs $15 to enter the fort. The fort is located on the Chesapeake Bay, and is famous for its use in the War of 1812 when the British attempted to take over Baltimore. When the fort prevented their advancement, Francis Scott Key wrote the Star-Spangled Banner. The flag that was flying over the fort at the time was the largest flag ever flown at that time - 30 x 42 ft! You can also visit the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House in Baltimore and see the flag itself at the Smithsonian Museum of American History in Washington D.C.

The Rawlings Conservatory originally opened to the public in 1888. The conservatory is split into different themed rooms (tropic, desert, Mediterranean, orchid) and is most well known for the grand historic Palm House (from the Victorian era). The conservatory is one of Baltimore's most important architectural treasures featuring five greenhouses, a 1.5 acre garden with flowers that bloom year-round.

Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum

Visit the home of Edgar Allan Poe! Purchased by his great-grandfather in 1755, Poe lived in the house from 1832-1835. It was during this period that he met his wife and began writing short stories. Exhibits at the museum include his writing desk and chair, along with other mementos from his childhood. The museum is open from 11 am - 4 pm, Wednesday - Sunday and costs $12. Other notable Poe landmarks - The Horse You Came In On Saloon (believed to be Poe's last stop before his death), Westminster Burial Ground and Catacombs (where Poe's grave is located), and The Enoch Pratt Free Library (which holds a collection of Poe's books, manuscripts, letters, etc.).

The National Museum of Dentistry is one of the largest and oldest collections in the world related to dentistry. The museum is open Tuesday - Friday from 10 am - 4 pm and costs $10 to enter (military, teachers, and children get in for free).

The Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum is located near Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles! The museum contains artifacts from Ruth's life, including rare baseball cards and also houses the Orioles 1983 World Series trophy and the Ravens 2015 Super Bowl V trophy. The museum is open Tuesday - Sunday from 10am - 5pm and costs $15 to enter.
