Haley and Micaela met their freshman year at the University of Central Florida as randomly assigned roommates. Both were in a core group of friends that lived, hung out, and studied together all throughout their undergraduate studies. Once Micaela started dental school and Haley started her PhD, the two started growing closer than ever as they bonded over their experience of attending graduate school during the pandemic. In September 2021, Haley confessed her feelings for Micaela, and the rest was history!
