We’ve decided we are going to elope on May 30. While it breaks our hearts to not celebrate with you on that day, we feel it is in everyone’s best interest and safety to postpone our celebration. We are planning to have a reception with all of you later this year or next spring.
The easiest (and most cost efficient) is renting a car for the weekend. This way you can also explore the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. There are also multiple shuttle companies that run services between PDX and Hood River.
Yes! We welcome all guests to a no-host happy hour at Ferment Brewing in Hood River on Friday night (exact time TBD) and a farewell picnic at the Waterfront Park on Sunday (exact time TBD). We hope you can join us!
We welcome little ones at all of our wedding events - including the ceremony and reception. Our venue has strict rules about which parts of the property guests can be in so we trust parents to keep an eye on their kids throughout our celebration. There are also many babysitter services in Hood River if you would like to go that route.
Yes! Due to Hood River city ordinance, the wedding must end by 10pm. But that's too early! We've reserved a private area of a downtown Hood River bar, Whiskey Tango, to keep the party going. There is always a DJ at the bar on Saturday nights and we are planning on boogying well into the night. We hope you join us!
