When should I RSVP?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by Sunday, September 14th, 2025.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. A suit & tie for men, and cocktail dress for women are encouraged. We ask that you please refrain from wearing flip-flops, shorts, sweatpants, and graphic t-shirts to our event.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at Roost Detroit. To book your reservation at the discounted rate, please follow the steps below: 1. Review & finalize your room selection by viewing the layouts (Studio & One Bedroom options ONLY) on the Roost Hotel Website 2. Call Sales Manager Jessica Reinke/ Sales Representative Emma Cook at (313) 597-7410 to secure room(s) at discounted rate 3. In order to be eligible for the discounted rate, your reservation MUST be made by September 25, 2025

Question

What should I do if I don’t make it into the room block?

Answer

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block (September 25, 2025), reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our travel page.

Will there be a shuttle to/from the recommended hotels?

What are my parking options?

Answer

For guests within driving distance of the venue, please see below available parking options: Valet Service - Our venue, Book Tower, offers valet parking. FREE Sunday Parking in Detroit – check out www.spotangels.com for a map of FREE parking options in and around the venue! ParkDetroit App – Be sure to download the ParkDetroit app to assist in finding additional parking options near Book Tower.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The doors to the venue will open 30 minutes ahead of our ceremony time at 5PM. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 15 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Our reception will end around 12AM. Unfortunately, we will not be hosting an after-party post reception.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day. Please make sure to arrange for childcare as needed.

Can I make special food requests for allergy purposes?

Answer

We have selected an entree choice that's vegan and gluten free to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. Our cocktail hour appetizers will be clearly marked if they are allergy friendly. If you have additional restrictions that go beyond what we've listed here, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP. We want you to be well fed!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.
