3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Be prepared for possible cooler or rainy weather, but hope for sunshine!
We intend to have a smaller ceremony, but hope to see you all at the reception! To get to the venue: Skater's Cabin is approximately a 13 mile drive from downtown Juneau. Head north on Egan Dr/Glacier Highway for about 8 miles to Mendenhall Loop Road. Turn right and travel about 2.2 miles. Turn left to stay on Mendenhall Loop Road. After a mile and a half, turn right on Montana Creek Road. Continue another half mile on to Skater's Cabin Road. Skater's Cabin is on the right side of the road. There is somewhat limited parking, so carpooling is a great idea. If you might be able to help transport an out-of-town guest, or if you're looking for a ride, please sign up here: https://tinyurl.com/zmweddinghelp NOTE: Despite the recent Jökulhlaup flooding, we anticipate the site will be suitable for the ceremony to carry on. P.S. If you're the kind of person who loves love and wants to attend the ceremony, you're welcome to join. It will be short, with no seating provided unless requested.
7:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Casual cocktail
Expect light finger foods, refreshments and cake, music, dancing and Yahtzee at every table. Dress code is "Juneau cocktail" and lots of color is encouraged.
2:00 pm
Dress comfortably for rain as you may wish to stand outside the cabin for prime whale viewing.
We've arranged for a 50 percent discount for our family and friends interested in an exciting Juneau experience. The tour will cost $75 per person and depart from Statter Harbor in Auke Bay at 2:15 p.m. To make your reservation please call Mike at 360-839-5844 and let him know you're booking as a wedding guest of Melissa Griffiths and Zach Lewis. This is not a private tour, but there should be ample room, allowing us to enjoy the site seeing together. The company does offer transportation from downtown if you don't have private transportation — you may ask about the meeting time and location for the bus when you book.
