Rental Car
Free shuttles take you from each terminal to the Rental Car Center, where all major rental companies operate. Note that when returning the rental car, you may want to allow an extra 30 minutes of travel time. Reserve online with your preferred company (Enterprise, Avis, etc.) for the best rates. Often when you book to far in advance, the prices can be higher. We recommend checking periodically for the best rates. If driving from San Diego to La Jolla, expect a 25-35 minute drive. Note that during peak hours, there is traffic in the La Jolla area.
Travel Note
Please allow time for parking and walking to the wedding venue. You may want to consider an Uber/Lyft for the day of the wedding as parking is limited. Extra Tips for a Smooth Wedding Weekend Arrive a day early to settle in, enjoy the coast, and avoid travel delays. Consider staying near other guests. Expect traffic near La Jolla Village during peak hours; plan extra time for events.
