Balboa Park
1,200 acre park with museums, gardens, theaters, and the zoo.
Pacific Beach
We have been here multiple times. It's something you should see at least once but would recommend going early because of parking and before it gets too crowded. This is a great surfing spot and has a lively boardwalk.
Carlsbad State Beach
We highly recommend this beach. It's less crowded than Pacific Beach and is a cute. We think it's more family friendly compared with Pacific Beach.
Tower39 Rooftop Lounge
This is a great spot to eat! The food was great with a great view of the ocean. Highly recommended if you visit Carlsbad.
Seaport Village
We have stayed in this area a few times. There is waterfront shopping, restaurants, and kayaking. It's beautiful!
Old Town
This is unique experience and worth seeing. Lots of history here with shops, restaurants, and music.
