We’re thrilled to celebrate with you! Since this is an international trip to a major airport hub and Istanbul is a popular destination, we recommend booking your flights as early as possible to avoid sudden price increases. Our wedding will take place in the Beykoz neighborhood on the Asian side of the city. For the easiest access to the venue, we highly recommend booking accommodations in or near this area or the Levent neighborhood on the European side. That said, the city is full of incredible sights, so if you prefer to stay closer to major attractions and are comfortable navigating traffic or traveling a bit farther, neighborhoods such as Sultanahmet, Beyoğlu, Taksim, İstiklal Street, Galata, Karaköy, or Kadıköy are also great options. Just be sure to allow enough time to arrive punctually for the ceremony and reception!

Istanbul Airport

Istanbul has two airports: Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW). We suggest flying into Istanbul Airport (IST), which is a major global hub and one of the largest and most connected airports in the world. We hope our wedding is a highlight of your trip, but IST also makes it easy to continue your adventures. From here, you can explore other parts of Turkey like the Aegean, Black Sea, or Anatolian regions—or hop to nearby countries like Greece, or further into Europe and Asia.

Turkish Airlines

Both Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Denver International (DIA) offer direct flights to IST. ORD typically providing two daily non-stop Turkish Airlines flights around 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. DIA typically provides one daily non-stop Turkish Airlines flight around 7:00 p.m.
