We're kicking off our wedding weekend at the Big Sur Lodge where many of our guests will be overnighting. Join us at the Homestead Restaurant for some hors d'oeuvres and drinks from 7:00 - 10:00 PM.

From casual to cocktail, we want you first and foremost to be comfortable. The venue recommends ditching your high heels and bringing an extra layer in case the fog rolls in. Our venue is bordered in the rear by the Big Sur River, so if dipping your feet in the cold crystal waters sounds like a good time, feel free to rock sandals or shorts!
Parking is available at the venue for guests who wish to drive in. We will be providing shuttle services to and from the venue to local lodging (within the bounds of Big Sur village) for anyone who wishes to leave their car behind. The venue strongly encourages guests who are incapacitated to leave their vehicles parked in the lot overnight. This is an outdoor event and while weather is expected to be mild, we highly encourage guests to be prepared for both unseasonably hot and cold weather due to Big Sur's proximity to the coast.

Big Sur shuts down at 10:00 PM and quiet time begins. Bring a flashlight and your library voice to campsites 170 - 172 at the Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park main campground after the wedding for a silent disco and campfire activities next to the Big Sur River. If you're feeling particularly bold, bring a swimsuit and towel to enjoy the swimming hole adjacent to our sites, but beware: the water is quite frigid, even in the summertime.
