Mehendi parties are comparable to the US custom of a bachelorette or bridal shower. A mehendi ceremony is an Indian tradition for the bride and her close female friends/family where henna is applied to the bride's hands and feet. Henna designs are said to bring good luck to the bride on the wedding day and throughout her marriage. The Mehendi will take place at an AirBnB rental in the Herron Mortan Place neighborhood just north of Downtown Indy. (Address will be provided the week before) Dinner and drinks will be provided and 1 - 2 henna artists will be on site if you would like to get henna done ($20 estimate) Please - NO gifts, your presence is enough! For those wishing to stay all night for the bachelorette activities after the mehendi party, there will be sleeping space at the Airbnb and the cost is $50 per person.

Rehearsal Dinner

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Casual Dress - y'all know the bride and groom will be SWEATY from decorating and rehearsing in the July heat.

We will be eating traditional South Indian food!

Renewal of Vows & Reception

5:30 pm - 10:30 pm
