Our voyage began over 9 years ago in the lucious, flat cornfields of Champaign, IL. Eyes locked on the dance floor, and the rest was history. As partners on Fizaa, a Bollywood dance team, we formed a great friendship. Our sympatico personalities led to a first date at Noodle & Co. After sharing some stories over penne rosa with chicken, Meghana knew she had someone special (Samir paid extra for the chicken). After making it Facebook Official on December 14th, the start of an incredible journey began.

One day, Samir woke up and decided that Meghana was the one. With the help of family and friends, he set her up on a day full of fun activities with friends. Little did she know that she would run into him at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool in Lincoln Park! After a brief walk around the pond, he bent the knee and the ring was placed. The biggest surprise of the day came afterwards, where several family and friends awaited them for an evening of celebration!
