11.22.16 • We Met They were set up on a blind date by some mutual work friends. Meghan got lost and walked around downtown looking for their resturaunt for half an hour before realizing she was wrong by one-block over. Christian miracuously stayed around despite thinking he had been stood up. Fate prevailed. They met, ate dinner and ended the night on a Dallas rooftop for their first kiss against the city skyline. 12.15.16 • It’s Official Meghan got really sick. Christian helped take care of her. Being the romantic he is, Christian decided to ask her to be his girlfriend while she was mid-puking. His words? “Would now be a good time to ask you to be my girlfriend?”. She said no. He laughed. She took it back. They were official. 12.14.18 • She said Yes! They had reservations at Reunion Tower for their 2-year anniversary. Meghan had convinced herself Christian wasnt going to propose because it would be too predictable and he would be expecting her to expect it (she overanalyzed it just a bit). She was clueless. They got dressed up, he drove and “took a quick detour” before dinner. They wound up at the same rooftop they ended their first date with. Christian had arranged for their closest friends to surprise them there. There were with flowers and candles everywhere, rose petals being tossed from the stairtop, a guitar solo, lots of tears and the most perfect proposal against the Dallas skyline. His words? “Would now be a good time to ask you to be my wife?”. She said yes! 09.18.20 We made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19. But after almost two years of being engaged, we couldn't wait another minute to get married! We planned an impromptu courthouse elopement in downtown Fort Worth with only our immediately family and pups by our side! 09.17.21 While we're technically already married, we can't imagine skipping our original mountain celebration with our favorite people! We can't wait to see you soon for our Wedding Pt. 2!
