Around the corner from Fraunces Tavern is a small cobblestoned street with an abundance of bars to choose from!
Historic waterfront neighborhood with great shops and restaurants! We recommend Cafe Patoro for coffee and pao de queijo (Brazilian cheesy breads--this is where we end many of our marathon training runs!), The Little Shop for a clever speakeasy, Industry Kitchen for outdoor waterfront dining (we had one of our early outdoor-dining pandemic dates here!), or the Tin Building for baked goods. There's also a museum for those interested in the nautical history of downtown Manhattan.

The NYC ferry is our preferred method of transportation! Convenient and comfortable way to cross the East River with some incredible views.
Open air food market on the waterfront in Williamsburg on Saturdays 11-6. Highly recommend the Good Batch ice cream cookie sandwiches and the duck fat poutine fries! We sometimes end our long runs here :)

One of our favorite pizza spots. Try the Brisket Five-O with gouda, beef brisket from Hometown BBQ in Red Hook, and pickled pineapple!
