VRBO / AirBNB
Both VRBO and AirBNB have great rental options available in Hilton Head. While you can rent a home anywhere on the island, we recommend staying in 'Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island, SC'. Not sure where to stay? The majority of the wedding festivities will take place in Harbour Town. Lands End in South Beach is your best bet for direct beach access. Rentals off North Sea Pines Drive will be walking distance to the main beach. Rentals outside of Sea Pines may also have beach access and be more affordable, just be sure to e-mail us at MeganFindsPeace@gmail.com if you book outside the resort!

Car Rental
You can rent (or return) a car at Hilton Head Airport (HHH) from Alamo, AVIS, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, National, Thrifty, or enterprise. While it can be convenient to have use of a car, Hilton Head is easily explored via bike. Please see the Things To Do tab for more info.

Hilton Head Airport (HHH)
The closest airport, but also the smallest. This airport only publicly services American Airlines and mainly offers connections from Charlotte.

Charleston Airport (CHS)
Flying into Charleston is a favorite of Megan’s parents. It is the only nearby airport that is a Southwest hub & who doesn’t like to stop for a meal in downtown Charleston! It is a two hour drive from HHI.

Savannah/Hilton Head Airport (SAV)
The largest of the surrounding airports, Savannah is an easy, traffic-free, one hour drive from Hilton Head. However, Southwest does not fly to this airport. If you do not wish to rent a car, Ubers are available to take you to and from SAV and Hilton Head.

Driving Directions
The best way to get to the island (if you're driving south) is by taking I-95 to exit 28 toward Coosawhatchie (SC-462). Google Maps and MapQuest will sometimes direct you to take I-95 as long as possible, but we've found this is the best way to get there. While there are two ways to get on the island, the quickest is a toll road. The toll for the Cross Island Expressway is $1.25.
