Are you registered?

Answer

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

While our caterer cannot accommodate all requests, we want to create a safe environment for our guests and that includes respecting all allergies. To ensure that our caterer is able to pay special attention to all food allergies that require emergency medical attention, please only include severe allergies on your RSVP. If you are allergic to seafood, please let us know in addition to opting for one of the non-seafood meal options. Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! All wedding week festivities are listed in the "Schedule" tab of this website. We will be hosting events beginning Thursday night!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Some of Megan's favorite childhood memories are from summers spent in Hilton Head & we would love for our wedding to be a chance for your family to make your own island memories. While they are more than welcome at other wedding weekend events, we ask that you leave the kiddos at the hotel/rental for the ceremony & reception. If you have any questions about babysitters on the island, please email MeganFindsPeace@gmail.com

Where should I stay?

Answer

Head over to the "Travel" tab to see our hotel and rental recommendations! The wedding will take place in Sea Pines - with the majority of the events occurring in the Harbour Town area - but you are amore than welcome to stay on other parts of the island or off the island- just be sure to e-mail MeganFindsPeace@gmail.com and let us know where you plan on staying!

How do I get into Sea Pines?

Answer

Upon receiving your RSVP, we will send your name to Sea Pines security and they will create a pass for you! Upon arrival, go directly to the gate house and tell them you are a guest of the Hauver-Peace Wedding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We encourage you to arrive at the ceremony about an hour before it begins. If you’re really early, grab a drink or snacks at the Quarterdeck. The back porch has great water views!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Harbour Town rentals and and the Inn at Harbour Town are walking distance to the both the ceremony and reception, but a golf cart is available for those who need assistance. If you are not staying in Harbour Town, Uber and Lyft are both on the island.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking in Harbour Town by the lighthouse and at the Harbour Town Clubhouse, which are walking distance from each other. The Inn at Harbour Town is walking distance to the both the ceremony and reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress is black tie preferred! We love getting dressed up and we want you to have fun with your attire! Ladies, please note that the ceremony will be held on grass.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are limited by the capacity of our venue and cannot extend invitations to plus ones.
