Ryan has lived in Durango for more than 10 years and considers it home now. Meg moved to Durango in 2018 to work as a midwife and be closer to her brother and the outdoors. Their mutual hairdresser realized they would be a perfect fit while Ryan was serving her at the Ore House in 2019. They went out on a "blind date" and Ryan was hooked after Meg ordered a mezcal margarita. The next day they introduced their dogs who also hit it off. Today they live in downtown Durango and enjoy cooking, wine, fly fishing and hiking together.
