Question

How do I get from San Jose to Rio Perdido?

Answer

Car - Route: http://tiny.cc/79d9iz A week's hire is around $80 for a tiny car or $250 for a medium sized but please compare. I will be putting up details of carshares for those attending to cut down on costs and emissions. Bus - By far the cheapest option. ANY bus from San Jose to Liberia (there are many) will stop in Bagaces. Please download google maps of the country before you go so that you will know exactly where you are. This trip will cost around $8.00 each way and be very entertaining I'm sure. There is no way to book fares or reserve seats so very much a 20th Century experience! Buses depart the Pulmitan station every hour. I will give out more exact details closer to the time if you need. Flights - There is a local airline who fly to smaller airports all over the island name SANSA (https://flysansa.com/) they do a route from San Jose to Liberia for around 100USD and takes around 50 minutes. Uber - Technically you could but this would be around $150 each way.

Question

Ok... I've made my way to Liberia or Bagaces, can you come and get me?

Answer

Yes! Just give us a heads up and we can certainly get the shuttle out.

Question

How am I supposed to contact you?

Answer

For our UK friends on the Three Network - this is a "feel at home" destination so all calls and data is within your plan. For everyone else there is normally a foreign add-on, please check your individual carriers.

Question

What's included in my room?

Answer

Free Breakfast, Wifi, Shuttle transport (Bagaces or Liberia) and valet parking. Dinner after the ceremony (and yes, booze too) will be included. Daily yoga, hikes and other activities TBC

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Tropical casual. Linens, shorts, summer dresses, floral prints. Anything that's going to make you cool and comfortable. Make sure you bring bathing suits for the after party! Nothing too formal please. No Black.
