Aaron met Maddy when he was still in utero, though his first actual memories of her are from when he got out of the womb and she was constantly smothering him with hugs and makeovers. Their favorite memories include getting tumbled in the ocean together and waking up at the crack of dawn to secretly play mario kart when they weren't supposed to.
Parvin Keshtmand
Maid of Honor
Megan and Parvin first met in their sixth grade gym class. At first, Megan tried hard to be friends with Parvin, who was full of angst and not at all interested in making any friends, especially loud and boisterous ones. Clearly, she had no idea what she was missing out on at the time because three years later, they became inseparable, with matching tattoos to show for it.
Kai Stone

Kai and Maddy met at Stevenson University when Kai was just a freshman! The two bonded over movies, music, and all things gay. They became co-presidents of QGroup (SU's GSA) and survived. They also became part of a phenomenal drag boy band (formerly the Backstreet Boiz, now on Instagram as @charmcityprinces). Now, Kai and Maddy enjoy reaching new heights and challenging each other at Earth Treks climbing gym.
Zack Brantley

Megan and Zack first met when Zack was about 24 hours old. She thought he looked hungry, so she decided he might want a crispy potato chip. Since then, they have shared a love of social justice, terrible puns, Dungeons and Dragons and other nerd culture, and have fond memories of summers at the beach and many trips with his Boy Scout Troop.
Nat Abel

Nat and Maddy met their freshman year of college at Stevenson University (Go Mustangs!). They became instant friends at the Wisp Leadership retreat for all SU club leaders. Maddy and Nat were part of an epic drag boy band (formerly the Backstreet Boiz, now on Instagram as @charmcityprinces) and danced their weekends away with "Justin Sane" and "Ben Packing". Today, Nat lives in California, but the two keep in touch through text and FaceTime. But, best of all, they enjoy going on adventures when Nat comes to town.
Catie Kennedy

Megan and Catie met in the sixth grade at the tender age of 11. They have enjoyed a long friendship of mutual understanding and trust, as well as shenanigans and tomfoolery like stealing street signs and outrageous hypotheticals. Catie will be making her way down her own aisle three months before Megan and Maddy, and Megan will be sharing in that as a bridesmaid and is extremely excited and happy for her!
Danny Carroll

Maddy and Danny have been friends since Elementary School. They grew up in the same neighborhood and bonded over snow days, block parties, hours of Nintendo 64, and Alligator in the Swamp (just ask us what that is!). In high school they loved to take long days and walk to Downtown Silver Spring or play endless Dogopoly games. Danny JUST graduated from The University of Edinburgh, so he's been away for 4 years. Despite the distance, the two have stayed in touch and always schedule a visit when Danny is in town.
Erin Durkin

Megan and Erin met at an often stressful and tumultuous time in all of our lives: middle school. They have remained close with the rest of their friends and have a shared love of camping, delicious food, and silly humor, even though they've been lost in the woods several times. Megan was a bridesmaid for Erin in 2016 and is so excited to have her in her wedding now. They have recently discovered a love of finding the most campy and gay movies they can, and of course, cats.
Lynn Moineau

Maddy and Lynn met at Stevenson University. Lynn, the young freshman, quickly turned Maddy, the not-so-mature sophomore into a party animal. They spent weekends staying up until 3am discussing the meaning of life (like all good college students). They teamed up many times to throw parties, go on Taco Bell runs, and help each other move! Now, Lynn and Maddy still discuss the meaning of life (aka bills and when and how to pay them) but have a much earlier bedtime.
Mikayla Malandra

Megan and Mikayla met through a mutual friend in 2007. They have bonded through the years over great food (but Mikayla as an authentic Italian will not let her eat at Olive Garden), a love of scary documentaries and fighting the Patriarchy. One of their favorite memories is their trip to Phoenix, Arizona which involved an elaborate escape from hostile (when aren't they though?) geese.
Brianna Glase

Maddy first met Brianna when Aaron invited her to the Silverman/Stock Family Hannukahpaloozah. Even though Brianna didn't participate in the gift exchange, Maddy bought her a present anyway so she wouldn't feel left out. Since then, Brianna has celebrated 3 family Hannukahs and gone on 2 family beach trips. They like playing board and card games together. The two also love to scheme and have deep discussions about where to get ice cream during family vacation.
Molly Szpara
Bridesmaid
Megan and Molly met in the ninth grade. They had several classes together that year, but most memorably, Italian. In the years following, they have gone on many camping trips together, shared a strong dislike of waking up early, and an intense love of breakfast food.
