What Should I Wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire is recommended. As our wedding ceremony takes place outdoors, ladies are encouraged to wear wedges or flats to avoid getting stuck in the terrain. Hood River is generally warm in the summer, but please check the weather and consider bringing a light jacket for the evening! The reception will also take place outdoors.

What Time Should I Arrive?

Our ceremony will begin at 5:00pm, and we ask that you please arrive by 4:30pm to settle in and meet our loved ones!

Can I Take Pictures?

Answer

We are requesting an unplugged ceremony, and so we ask that you please put your phone away during the ceremony. We will make sure all of the photos are available to our friends and family, but we'd like you to be fully present for our special moment. Phones and cameras are welcome during the cocktail hour and reception!

Where Should I Stay?

Answer

The Columbia Gorge Hotel is now full, but the Westcliff Lodge next door may have availability! There are also several other nearby options that you can find on our Travel page, including Airbnb and VRBO. Please book early as Hood River is a very popular destination during the summer!

How Do I Get to the Venue?

Answer

The Columbia Gorge Hotel is about an hour east of the Portland airport, and about 5 minutes outside of downtown Hood River. Currently, there are no rideshare options like Lyft or Uber in Hood River, so please plan accordingly! However, there is still availability to stay onsite at the Columbia Gorge Hotel, as well as several hotel options within walking distance of the venue.
