We're Getting Married!

As residents of the same city who shared mutual friends, Megan and Kyle crossed paths many times before officially meeting in January of 2016. After admiring each other from afar, they were both excited to finally spend time together on their first date at Saucebox in downtown Portland. On the evening of January 28th, Megan calmed her nerves with a pre-date shot of whiskey while Kyle killed time by walking around shops in Portland; he even bought a new shirt just for the occasion. Within the first few minutes of sitting down together, it was clear that this date was unlike any other that Megan or Kyle had ever been on before. Their conversation was fun and easy, and neither wanted the night to end. Megan willingly stayed out past 10:00pm, a clear sign that she knew this was something special. Kyle decided that day that he wanted to marry Megan. Since that first date, Megan and Kyle have not gone a day without speaking. Over the years they have built a foundation for a lifetime together, from traveling the world to moving into their first home together in Portland. Most importantly, in late 2017 the couple adopted their first-born son: Tom the Bernedoodle. Megan, Kyle and Tom are so thrilled to have all of their loved ones come together in August to make their little family official!
