Things To Do

I never imagined I would like Jupiter as much as I do. Megan and I encourage everyone to spend as much time as you can in Jupiter either before our wedding or after. We've tried to list all of our favorite things out, but if you have any specific questions or are looking for a certain type of place please don't hesitate to reach out and ask. We encourage everyone to let us know where you go and what you think!

BREAKFAST: First Watch

6240 West Indiantown Road, Jupiter, FL 33458

Joey: This is a chain restaurant I think but I've only ever been to this one. They have super fresh food and good coffee. Also have solid salad lunch options. Megan: If you love a good salad I recommend the avocado chopped salad.

BREAKFAST: Maplewood Bagel Market

401 Maplewood Drive, Jupiter, FL 33458

Joey: This bagel place is right around the corner from Megan's house and has been a major contributor to my barrel. I think the food in Jupiter is phenomenal but obviously falls short of NY when it comes to bagels and pizza. There is a place that has better bagels than Maplewood called Brooklyn Water Bagel (which claims it imports its water from Brooklyn - simply a lie) but not so much better that I would drive there over this place. Good iced coffee.

BREAKFAST: Center Street Nook

223 Center Street, Jupiter, FL 33458

Joey: This is one of the best breakfast places I have ever been to. It's pretty small so usually a little bit of a wait but it's always pretty manageable. And definitely worth the wait. The owners are a blue collar family from outside of PA and are really friendly people. They have a crazy lineup of eggs benny options and usually have ridiculous specials too. Also this is Ricky Fowler's favorite restaurant so if you go on Monday you might see him. Megan: The coconut french toast is to die for!

BREAKFAST: Jupiter Rinaldis

245 Toney Penna Drive, Jupiter, FL 33458

Joey: Tyler and I went here after Bob does sports did a bacon egg and cheese video of this place. Somehow we had never been even though it is basically walking distance from the Wilson's house. For my money this place is second best behind the Nook. The owners are a wonderful couple from the northeast so they know their way around a kitchen.

LUNCH: Koon Manee

17370 FL A1A Alt, Jupiter, FL 33477

Joey: This is Megan and I's favorite lunch spot. Anyone who knows my sushi eating habits knows 99% of the time I am just going with a spicy tuna roll and this right here is the best I've ever had. I told that to Christian Cropp, a lifelong Jupiter resident, and he laughed at me so maybe I am dragging it but whatever. This place is super fast and on the cheaper end. Megan: This is one of my favorite restaurants in Jupiter they have the best lunch specials. I always order bento box #1.

LUNCH: Thirsty Turtle Seagrill

13981 U.S. 1, Juno Beach, FL 33408

Joey: This is a MUST GO for wing lovers. The wings are phenomenal - the house buffalo sauce is mixed with some garlic and honey magic and it just makes my heart dance. They have beers on draft which makes this a great place to watch the Army / Navy game and Pro football that weekend. Megan: The best wings in the entire world!!!! Yeah I said it, if you don't believe me then I guess you have to try them out for yourself.

LUNCH: Schooners

1001 North Highway A1A, Jupiter, FL 33477

Joey: Great outdoor bar and always a great (older) crowd. Megan and Emily hate this place which makes me like it even more. They have a ton of beers and also make solid food for lunch. Only thing I'd stay away from are the conch fritters those stink. Megan: This is my least favorite place in Jupiter. Sure, the people are nice but I've never had a meal here where I was excited.

LUNCH / DINNER: Guanabanas

960 North Highway A1A, Jupiter, FL 33477

Joey: Love the setup of Guadabanas. It's right next to blue line so it's a great place to go if you decide to paddleboard. It's like walking through a jungle from the entrance to the actual restaurant. Nice view of the water and really solid crushes. Megan: such a cool restaurant! If you like a strong drink order the Cat 5. You will literally feel like you survived a hurricane the following morning

LUNCH / DINNER: Lynora's Jupiter

1548 U.S. 1, Jupiter, FL 33469

Joey: I've only been here once and it was literally our first date after Megan picked me up from the airport. I liked this place a lot. Megan: Such a fun spot! I really love it here from the pizza to the pasta dishes you can't go wrong.

LUNCH / DINNER: Mana Greek Fusion

117 North Coastal Way, Jupiter, FL 33477

Megan: If you like authentic Greek food you have to check this place out. Every time I go here I have a fantastic meal and can't wait to go back. I highly recommend the Mana platter. Joey: Ridiculously good. Very authentic Greek food and awesome customer service. Also make great cocktails. Last time I got the lamb chops but per usual finished Megan's meal too so had some of the Mana platter. A really cool spot that is right next to the Wyndham if you stay there.

DINNER: U-Tiki Beach

1095 North Highway A1A, Jupiter, FL 33477

Joey: This place is hard to get a reservation at but sometimes you can get lucky. Any mac or sweet potato crusted fish is ridiculous and the Utiki potatoes are a must get. They also have a drink called Tito's Sunset Lemonade which is dangerously good. Sushi also excellent Megan: what joey said but make sure for your sides you order the utiki potatoes

DINNER: the River House

2373 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410

Joey: This place is expensive for sure but in my opinion the best restaurant I've been to in Florida. We tried to inquire about our rehearsal dinner here but they don't seat more than 12. They have an awesome outdoor seating arrangement but also plenty of room inside too. Megan and I went here for our one year anniversary and I got a dozen oysters and a 22oz cowboy bone in ribeye. Megan got the ribs, which are advertised as world famous and I can confirm they are. Mouth is watering thinking about this again. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They also make great cocktails.

DINNER: Seasons 52

11611 Ellison Wilson Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33408

Joey: Never been but have heard great things Megan: Never been here either but my parents like it. The last time they were there they saw Sylvester Stallone.

ACTIVITY: Blueline Surf & Paddle

997 North Highway A1A, Jupiter, FL 33477

Joey: First of all this is the chillest store out there. They have a bunch of surfing stuff and awesome hats, shirts, sunglasses etc. I wouldn't be surprised if the ghost of Heath Ledger is in the back listening to Maggie May and cranking out surfboards. It also smells unreal in there. The "activity" part of this is going paddle boarding which you can rent and pay for right from this shop. You get in the water right across the street. Paddle boarding is one of those activities that I never thought looked like an ounce of fun but I enjoy it a lot now. Also can hit Guanabanas right after for a beverage and/or lunch.

ACTIVITY: Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse

Jupiter Lighthouse Park, Jupiter, FL 33469

Joey: When I went to see Megan for the first time in Jupiter we went here. It's pretty cheap to go take a tour which includes a a trip to the top of the lighthouse. I don't recommend if you are afraid of heights because the walk up the stairs is a little steep. The view at the top is obviously incredible

ACTIVITY: The Beach

Jupiter, FL

Joey: I think going to the beach kind of stinks to be honest so will let Megan take this. Megan: There are a few options as you can imagine. One is Carlin Park, the other is Mile Marker 47 on south highway A1A. The main difference is Carlin Park has no dogs, so if you prefer that Carlin Park is your best bet.

ACTIVITY: Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf

617 North Highway A1A, Jupiter, FL 33477

Joey: This is a mini golf course. Maybe by the time we are married Megan will have beaten me in a round of mini golf here. I have had some close calls but ultimately have been too relentless for her to handle. There is also ice cream here. Megan: We went here on one of our first dates. The first hole I got a hole in one... It was the first time I ever saw Joey nervous haha

ACTIVITY: Tiki Taxi and Cruises

25 North Coastal Way, Jupiter, FL 33477

Megan: Starting from 3-11pm every hour on the hour you can take a ride on the tiki taxi. The tiki taxi picks you up under the Indiantown bridge and you ride around Jupiter's hotspots. You will get a front row seat to our wedding venue, the Jupiter lighthouse, the famous square grouper bar, and the opening of the Jupiter inlet. While you are riding around you get to enjoy music and drinks highly recommend this fun activity! Joey: This is Mrs. Wilson's favorite activity so you should do it if you can. The best part about it is you can go anytime from 3 - 11pm once you buy a ticket. So you can keep riding if you want. Another fun thing to do is go on before dinner, have a few drinks, eat and then go back on after.

ACTIVITY: Loggerhead Marinelife Center

ACTIVITY: Loggerhead Marinelife Center

14200 U.S. Highway 1, Juno Beach, FL 33408

Megan: The Loggerhead Marine Life Center is a rehab center for injured turtles found in the waters of Florida. You get to see the turtles up close and personal and if you are lucky you can see turtles being transported from the turtle hospital into their own tanks. Staff members are available during your tour to answer any questions you have.

ACTIVITY: Jupiter Boat Parade

ACTIVITY: Jupiter Boat Parade

Jupiter Inlet

The Saturday before our wedding is the annual Jupiter boat parade. We've provided a link below with information but overall this is a nice event where people will decorate their boats in a Christmas theme and parade around the inlet. Also important to keep this event in mind because anything you do near the water (i.e. restaurants, bars, etc.) will probably be a little more crowded than usual.

ACTIVITY: Adventure Watersports | Parasailing and Boat Charters

200 East 13th Street, Riviera Beach, FL 33404

If you love a good parasailing adventure check this place out. Tell the owner Jason you know the Wilson's.

GOLF: Golf Club Of Jupiter

1800 Central Boulevard, Jupiter, FL 33458

Joey: I love this course. It is on the shorter end but has a really unique layout. It is also the most affordable golf in Jupiter when it comes to full length courses. It is pretty narrow in some places and has some really cool holes. Greens are quick but not lightening. The front features back to back short par 3s followed by back to back long par 5s surrounded by water. The back is a little bit more wide open but overall it is pretty narrow so course management and ball striking are important. Have I beat Mr. Wilson here? No

GOLF: Abacoa

Jupiter, FL

Joey: I have only played this course once, but I really liked it. I don't think Mr. Wilson likes it as much. I think that is partially because he plays in a league there every Thursday and it always gets rained out. Whenever I stay with Megan this is the course I go chip and putt at in the mornings because the practice green is massive. This course is very expensive but I think has the best greens. I don't think I am exaggerating when I say the greens roll at an 10 or 11 when it is hot out. Because I've only played once I don't remember the course fully but I remember enjoying it. Have I beat Mr. Wilson here? No

GOLF: Hammock Creek Golf Club

2400 Southwest Golden Bear Way, Palm City, FL 34990

Palm City! The funniest part about golfing with Mr. Wilson is without fail, every time you play golf in Palm City he talks about it being a swamp if he chunks a shot. I think most of the time it is just because he is hitting 3 inches behind the ball but I will concede the Palm City courses are a little wet. I have played this course the most out of any course in Florida and I really like it. It is challenging and can play a little long, but is pretty wide open off the tee. Very fairly priced with an awesome range / chipping and putting facility. I saw an old gentleman make a hole in one here and it was hilarious because you can't see the hole from this tee and him and Mr. Wilson both hit really close shots. When we walked up we saw there was one in there and for a second thought Mr. Wilson made his first hole in one. It was the other guy (his 8th hole in one). Have I beat Mr. Wilson here? Yes (a few times)

GOLF: Lost Lake Golf Club

8300 Southeast Fazio Drive, Hobe Sound, FL 33455

Joey: This course absolutely kicks my ass for some reason. That being said it is a great course and good bang for your buck. As the name suggests, there is a lot of water here and it is easy to get into trouble. Greens are nice and there are some really cool hole concepts. They have unreal dogs at the turn which is crucial especially when you are slapping it around like I usually do here. Have I beat Mr. Wilson here? No

GOLF: Florida Club

9005 Southwest Old Royal Drive, Stuart, FL 34997

Joey: This is a great track and I have some very fond memories at this place. I think it is reasonably priced as well. I love the practice facility here which has a green entirely dedicated to chipping. The greens are usually awesome and I think the course is a perfect blend of dangerous yet gettable. The only annoying thing about this place is the starters are complete HARDOOOs. They like to tell you that your round needs to be done in 3 hours and 45 mins which is just a ridiculous ask considering it's Florida golf so it's a little bit slower. I haven't seen a Marshall come out but supposedly happens a decent amount. I wouldn't let that deter you from going here though. Have I beat Mr. Wilson here? Yes. I also almost won his Saturday morning stableford the one time I went. And I went double (penalty stoke), bogey (missed 8 footer), bogey (3 putt) to finish. Annoying looking back.

BAR: Tiki 52

18487 Southeast Federal Highway, Tequesta, FL 33469

Megan: If you love live music this is your spot. This bar is also famous because Brittany and Jason Aldean are frequently spotted here.

BAR: Square Grouper Tiki Bar Jupiter Inlet

1111 Love Street, Jupiter, FL 33477

Joey: Probably my second favorite bar in the universe besides the Tamaqua. The location is unmatched right next to the inlet. It is also a great place to go during the day when its less crowded. Usually have live music starting pretty early in the day. This is a must visit location in Jupiter. If you make it through the wedding we will definitely be spilling over there after. Megan: This bar is way better than the Tamaqua. If you do go make sure you order a creamsicle you can thank me later.
