We met in elementary school. Joey was best friends with my brother and seemed to always be around the house growing up. We were always friendly with one another but things changed when we met up at Tyler's house after not seeing each other for many years. After on and off conversation, and many attempts to get my attention at my sister's wedding, Joey called me to tell me his feelings for me were more than friendly.. and the rest is history.

Joey and I headed off to the Hard Rock Hotel in Daytona, FL for a fun vacation. Although I was expecting him to propose all vacation he did not. We checked out of our hotel and headed home, I was a very disappointed passenger. During the road trip back my mom called to tell us brunch plans were in order and to get ready quick for more fun. When we got to our brunch plans Joey and I headed over to get a sneak peak of the beautiful Jupiter lighthouse. To my surprise, he proposed a couple of minutes after our arrival with my favorite view in the background.
