Things To Do

Arnolds Park Amusement Park

37 Lake Street, Arnolds Park, IA 51331
, (712) 332-2183

When Megan thinks of her childhood, she thinks first of the special place that is Arnolds Park, so we highly recommend checking it out while you’re in town! Just a short walk from our venue, you’ll find plenty to do—stroll along the boardwalk, enjoy live music at Preservation Plaza, grab a drink by the water, or ride the classic wooden roller coaster at the amusement park. It’s the perfect spot to relax, take in the lake views, and experience the fun and charm of Okoboji :)

Okoboji Store

1404 U.S. 71, Okoboji, IA 51355

The Okoboji Store is one of our favorite spots to grab a bite to eat during the summer - Megan actually was a waitress here a few summers back! It’s right on the lake and has a great mix of good food, drinks, and live music. We highly recommend the deconstructed nachos!!

Taco House

1614 Terrace Park Blvd, Milford, IA 51351
, (712) 332-5895

This is by far our favorite place to eat at in the summer!! It’s nothing fancy—just simple, delicious tacos that hit the spot every time. We recommend the nachos (with their hot sauce) or a fajita burrita!

Brooks Golf

1201 Brooks Park Drive, Okoboji, IA 51355

Brooks Golf Course is a must-visit for anyone who loves to golf—it’s actually Conner’s favorite spot in the area! The 27-hole course is beautiful and well-kept, with a mix of challenging holes and stunning lake views.

The Queen

37 Lake St, Arnolds Park, IA 51331
, (712) 332-2183

The Queen is a fun and unique way to experience West Lake Okoboji. It’s a classic excursion boat that takes you on a scenic cruise around the lake, and it’s one of our favorite ways to soak in those summer views. Whether you go for a daytime ride or a sunset cruise, it’s a relaxing and memorable way to see Okoboji from the water.
