We're Getting Married!

Conner and Megan first crossed paths at Northwestern College during their freshman year—but plot twist: they had actually grown up just 11 blocks apart in Sioux Falls without ever realizing it. (Apparently Sioux Falls is huge when you’re avoiding your future spouse.) Megan had a high school friend at NWC who lived in Colenbrander Hall and played basketball—same as Conner. And funny enough, every time Megan dropped by to say hi, Conner was always there too. But here’s the kicker: for the longest time, Megan wasn’t even sure Conner could talk. He was so quiet that she started wondering if he was either secretly mute… or just silently plotting his escape every time she walked into the room. Turns out, he was just saving his words for the right moment—when he finally decided to move things from “just friends” to something more. Eventually, he worked up the nerve to invite Megan to hang out in his dorm room. Her response? A very casual, “Sure, why not.” Subtle, understated, and somehow the start of everything. That casual “why not” turned out to be the beginning of their forever. Since that night, Conner and Megan have been inseparable, building a Christ-centered relationship full of laughter, love, and four+ years of adventures—with plenty more to come.
