Leoness Cellars
We highly suggest visiting Temecula Wine Country during your stay. Loeness Cellars is one of our absolutely favorites, Clint and I visit it often! You will not want to miss out on the incredible wines, views and restaurant that Leoness has to offer.
Ponte Winery
Ponte Winery is another must-see. We absolutely love the grounds and restaurant of Ponte. This winery is an amazing lunch spot with great wine tasting. There is even an adorable hotel on the property. Reservations highly recommended.
Bottaia Winery
[ B O H • T A H • Y A] Italian for "cask aging room". Italian Inspired, Locally Made. Bottaia is another incredible winery to visit in Temecula. This is the chicer sister to Ponte, and a definitely luxurious visit. You will love their Italian-style wines, charcuterie pairings, and their barrel room. Reservations highly recommended.
Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Preserve
Hiking the Santa Rosa Plateau is one of our favorite activities to do as a family, and this gorgeous reserve is right in our back yard! We highly suggest giving this spot a visit. There are many different tails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, or for simply soaking in the views. It is a very special place to us.
Disneyland Park
No description needed here - Disneyland is always worth the visit. This is the original park and truly the happiest place on earth for kids and adults!
Del Mar
With San Diego beaches just an hour away, we highly recommend you take a day trip! Our absolute favorite beach is Del Mar, and we visit it as much as we can. We also love South Carlsbad State Beach and La Jolla. You cannot go wrong with any of these spots. You can also explore Downtown San Diego nightlife for something a little more upbeat, do not forget to check out Little Italy!
Palm Desert
For those with an extended trip, we highly suggest driving out to the Palm Desert/Palm Springs area. We love Palm Desert and always enjoy the pools, resorts, architecture, and restaurants that it as to offer. Not to mention, it is only an hour and 15 minute drive from Murrieta!
Bear Creek Golf Club
Bear Creek is a fabulous place to golf in Murrieta, CA. While you do need an in to get a tee time, the effort is well worth it. Golfing is a way of life in Murrieta, and this luscious course is not messing around!
Pechanga Golf Course
Pechanga Golf Course is another incredible golfing option in the area, it is picture perfect! This course is public so you should have no issues getting a tee time. The views are unbeatable and it is a great experience no matter what.
Pechanga Resort Casino
Staying at Pechanga or not, this resort is luxurious and definitely worth a visit. Spend the night having fun at the casino, or dining at one of their amazing restaurants. We highly suggest Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar as well as The Great Oak Steakhouse. You may also want to check out Pechanga's luxe day spa and pool.
Finch Wildomar
Best nightcap in town! Finch is a trendy and delicious bar and restaurant. We love to visit Finch and enjoy the views of the Santa Rosa Plateau while sipping craft cocktails. Their menu is delicious and they have a great brunch. If you are staying in or around Murrieta, this is your place!
