Question

The ceremony is outdoors - What if it rains?

Answer

In the event of inclement weather, the wedding ceremony will be held at The Concourse Hotel (same location as the reception) at 3:30pm. The Monona Terrace website will indicate rooftop closures 3 hours in advance. If you provide your phone number with your RSVP we will send you a text if the ceremony location is changed to the rain back-up plan.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you are planning on flying into the Madison airport and staying in the downtown area most of the weekend, we would not advise renting a car. The parking costs downtown can add up, and there lots of other great options for getting around including Uber, Lyft, Union Cab, Green Cab, and hotel-airport shuttles. Weather permitting, downtown Madison is super pedestrian friendly! The wedding ceremony and reception are also only about half a mile apart.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but due to space and budget constraints, we have decided to make our wedding celebration an adults-only event. We hope you will understand and take the opportunity for a night off to celebrate with us!
