Most suggestions are accessible through the streetcar except the "Outer City" recommendations. Kansas City Streetcar
If you don't feel like driving around town and worrying about parking, get an uber downtown and try hopping around town with the streetcar. It's free and not usually very busy, and it also runs late if you're out partying.
