There are multiple airports in our area, with SFO having the most flight availability. Travel time from SFO to Merced is about 2.5 hours and will require a rental car or other ground transportation arrangements. All major rental car companies operate out of this airport. Fresno airport is the closest to the reception venue. Fresno airport is about an hour from Merced by car. Enterprise, Budget, and Hertz all operate on site. Alternatively, depending on your arrival time, you may also take a rideshare to the Amtrak station and take the one hour train to Merced. Oakland is another potential airport in the area. This is around 2 hours away from the reception venue as well, and will require ground transportation arrangements.
