It did! Due to the extreme heat wave in Central California, we have decided to move the reception indoors to the Mainzer Theater. This is on the same block as the original venue, The El Capitan Hotel, so less than a 2 minute walk!
We have chosen to have a small, sweet and intimate ceremony to celebrate our love. Given our very intimate ceremony, there are a limited number of spots available, and unfortunately, we cannot invite everyone. We can't wait to celebrate with all our beloved guests at our wedding reception on 8/9 at the El Capitan Hotel.

The dress code is dressy casual or semi-formal attire. For this time of year in Central California, may we suggest the following attire: Sundresses, lightweight separates, lightweight dress shirts with khakis or lightweight slacks. If you are feeling festive, join us as we celebrate our union in a palette as vibrant as our love - Orange, Teal, and Marigold. Let these hues inspire your attire as we step back in time to the mid-century modern era, where style meets simplicity with a splash of color. Think retro prints, bold hues, and a touch of vintage flair. We can’t wait to see how you bring our colorful theme to life! Although this is encouraged, it is in no way required! The most important thing is that our guests feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate!

We have decided to include only family children in our celebration. We hope this doesn’t inconvenience you and that you can still join us in this celebration!
We will be hosting a cocktail hour from 6-7 that will include signature cocktails, as well as beer and wine. During dinner, red and white wine will be hosted and served tableside. A full cash bar will be available from 7-10 pm.

We will be having and Italian themed dinner buffet with a vegetarian pasta and a chicken entrée. If you have other dietary restrictions, please indicate in your RSVP so we may plan accordingly.
Yes! The El Capitan Hotel offers a valet service for those staying at the hotel or you can self park in the parking garage located at 1747 M St, Merced.

Having shared our home and lives for many years, we have decided to take a non-traditional approach. We're offering guests the option to contribute to our honeymoon, creating memories that will last a lifetime, instead of traditional gifts. In addition, we have selected two organizations that are very special to us: The ZTTK SON-Shine Foundation and the Merced County Animal Shelter to which you may contribute to in lieu of a gift.
