Hike along the many trails, ranging from easy walks to challenging climbs, or simply relax and take in the beauty of nature around you. Please note that Yosemite can be quite busy, especially during the summer months, so we recommend planning your visit accordingly, and make park reservations. This taproom is an indoor space with plenty of seating, great to escape the Merced heat! They often bring in local artists, vendors, food and entertainment to the space.

Vista Ranch and Cellars is a charming destination located in Merced, California, offering a unique blend of agricultural beauty and a taste of local wine. Blaker Brewing - The Tarmac
Castle Air Base in Atwater, CA, is home to The Tarmac taproom. They offer a great selection of craft beer and cider. They often host live performances and there’s over 10 food trucks parked outside, so you can grab a bite at some awesome taco trucks. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, even for children and pets! If you are visiting Castle Air Museum, this is a great stop for lunch or dinner.

This is one of your favorite restaurants in Merced! Megan's favorite dish is the Thai Crazy Noodle and Sean prefers the Pad Prik!
Masala Express
We think this is the best Indian food in Merced. We recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, Vindaloo, and the garlic naan. Everything is good!
