Cara has been an integral part of my life since we met playing high school soccer in 2008, and she's been like a big sister to me for the past 14 years. She is someone I’ve always looked up to and who has helped shape me into the person that I am today simply by leading by example. She moved to Seattle in 2020 and our bond has only gotten stronger. Cara is hilarious, bold, fiercely loyal, and is always the life of the party! I could not imagine a life without her, and we feel so fortunate that she will be standing by our side on our wedding day!
Taylor Brennan
Best Man
While Taylor is only two years older than me, I feel like he's so many years wiser. I'm proud to say that who I am today is due in large part to having Taylor's footsteps to follow in. Both of us having a quiet demeanor, I'm not sure that Taylor realized growing up how much I looked to him as an example in all aspects of life. I admire Taylor's intense curiosity and compassion, and our conversations help me feel grounded and at ease in a way I imagine only talks with a big brother can. We both headed west to pursue new adventures, and have become even closer since. I'm excited to have Taylor by my side as my best man to take this next step.
Kayla Miller

I met Kayla at the University of Arizona through our sorority and shared major. We clicked soon after we met and eventually became inseparable! Kayla is the type of person that everyone wants to be friends with because her aura is absolutely magnetic. She has a vivacious personality and authentically goofy nature, and so many of my favorite college memories include her. I cannot wait to make more unforgettable memories with her as she stands by our sides once again on our wedding day!
Matthew Clark

When I first met Matt I knew I'd be up against a protective big brother and that I'd have to prove myself worthy. I'm sure there was some convincing done on Megan's end, but as time went on and we've gotten to mountain bike together and share enough hazy IPA's I think I won him over. When we called to give him the news of our engagement I'm pretty sure he was the most excited of everyone we talked to that day. Matt is adventurous and determined, and beneath his tough exterior a kind-hearted goofball.
Stephanie Shi

Stephanie and I met at U of A one day after learning we would both be attending UW for grad school. We decided almost immediately that we should be roommates during our first year in Seattle, which evolved into living together for 3 years! Steph was the first person in Seattle to match my silly energy and is someone I can talk to about anything. She is thoughtful, dependable, and single-handedly organizes and plans most of our group trips and adventures. We couldn't imagine our wedding day without her standing next to us!
Scott Simpson

Scott and I have been lifelong friends, and in 2015 we took a leap and moved across the country to Seattle together. We've made plenty of wild memories over the years mountain biking, sailing, camping, and creating. Although I'd like to think that I bring an even keel to our friendship, Scott has always pushed me out of my comfort zone and kept me on my toes and few people know me as well as he does. It's been a privilege growing up with a steadfast friend like Scott and we're grateful to have him standing with us at our wedding.

A mutual acquaintance recommended that Lisa and I meet after learning we were both going to UW. After some platonic internet flirting, Lisa and I realized how much we have in common and decided to live together during our first year in Seattle. I have always looked to Lisa for advice, honest conversation, and a whole lot of laughter. She is a constant source of warmth and positivity, and I have always admired her patience and empathy. We are so grateful that Lisa will be standing with us as we get married!
Shane Stauffer

Shane is someone I can always count on; the real backbone of our group of friends. Shane's been responsible for wrangling us all up for some of the best experiences of our lives. He's fueled our collective punk rock interest with Warped Tour shows, and inspired my desire to get outdoors with my first backpacking trip to Algonquin. He'll call me up out of the blue to check in and catch up, letting us know he's been thinking about us. Full of good advice and even better dad jokes, Shane is the definition of a great friend.

Laura and I met during undergrad through our sorority. We were roommates during our last two years of college and have so many amazing memories from our University Boulevard home and beyond! Whether we were having a cozy night in or rowdy night out, I have always cherished my time with Laura. She is a reliable, steadfast friend who is always game for a good time. We are so happy to have her by our sides on our wedding day!

Sean is one of the best guys I know. He's always up for anything and brings out the best in everyone he meets. Recently Sean had the opportunity to live in Seattle for a few months and we had a ton of fun helping him get to know the Pacific Northwest; hoping he'll make a permanent return someday! Equal parts adventurous, thoughtful, and goofy, I never know what Sean will be up to next but I always know that at the drop of a hat he'd be there for me.

Shannon and I met through Laura when we all decided to live together during our last two years of college. We became even closer while we studied abroad in Italy, where we spent the summer laughing, exploring, and having the best time together. Shannon has always been a compassionate, fun-loving, and supportive friend who is wise beyond her years. I am so grateful to have her in my life, and we are so excited to have her standing with us on our wedding day!

Casey is what it means to be reliable. He's always there when you need him, and he's an achiever who has inspired me throughout my life. In school, Casey and I played lacrosse, football, and wrestled together, and he's always set the bar high in a way that makes everyone aspire to be like him. I go to Casey when I need to make the hard decisions and get the comfort and direction only an honest friend can give.

I first talked to Claudia during sorority recruitment when we, hysterically, spent most of our conversation talking about cockroaches and laughing nonstop. We became even closer after she helped us with planning our trip to Switzerland in 2019, and has become someone I call or text whenever I need a quick pick-me-up. Claudia lights up every room she walks into with her enthusiasm and contagious energy. We can't wait for her to be our biggest hype girl on our wedding day!

Dan and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. Somehow Dan has managed to simultaneously be the hardest-working person I know and the absolute life of the party. He's the kind of guy you could sit down next to at a bar and be best friends with by the end of the night. Dan's generosity and authenticity is obvious in everything that he does and I can't imagine my wedding day without Dan.

Diefa and I met at work and instantly connected. As luck would have it, we were house-hunting at the same time and ended up moving 8 minutes apart from each other! Whether we’re plant shopping, having a sushi date, or watching The Bachelor and eating Cheesecake Factory, Diefa is someone who brings laughter and joy to every interaction. She is one of the sweetest, most kind-hearted people we have ever met, and we are so excited to have her with us as we get married.

I met Keelan during my first year in Seattle. A friend introduced us, and at first I have to say I was intimidated! But behind that buff exterior, Keelan is one of the most loyal and caring people I've ever met. He's the guy that I call when I get in over my head on a project and need a hand, and the guy that taught me the best way to show someone you care is with some excellent barbecue.

Fortunately, our desks were right next to each other so there was no way she could escape my nonstop chatter, and we quickly became partners in crime.
