What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire! Our venue is an indoor/outdoor space. The ceremony will take place outside on a lawn overlooking a lake, and the reception will be in a covered but open-air space.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Generally, we have nice, warm weather in August, with the sun staying in the sky past 8pm (hint: bring sunscreen if you burn easily). However, the weather in the Pacific Northwest is fairly unpredictable, so we highly recommend checking the weather in the week leading up to our wedding weekend.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive ahead of time to snag your seat and ensure we can begin on time.

How can I get to the venue?

Answer

We recommend driving, car pooling with family or friends, or taking an Uber/Lyft. If you choose to take an Uber or Lyft, we highly recommend planning ahead and pre-scheduling a pick up after the reception ends at 10pm. Since our venue is not in a large city or town, lyfts and ubers will not be readily available and may have lengthy wait times.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is ample space for parking at the venue. Additionally, cars can be left overnight at the venue, but must be picked up by 10am the next morning.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love kids, especially your kids! However, we are graciously asking our friends and family members with babies and toddlers to make childcare arrangements with a family member or babysitter on Friday evening. Thanks for understanding! We're excited to see the whole family on Saturday at Golden Gardens Beach!
