In true modern day fashion, Megan and Jordan matched on Bumble. Jordan wrote a clever caption about searching for "the best farm-raised, cage-free IPA in Seattle." Megan swiped right, and it was a match! A few witty messages and three days later, they had their first date. Where? A local brewery, of course: Hale's Ales! By the end of the evening, Jordan already had their second date planned: a taco and margarita bar crawl.

Jordan adopted Dexter in 2016 after falling in love with him at a rescue event. The two lived the bachelor lifestyle for 6 months before Megan came into their lives. After a few years, Megan and Jordan wanted to adopt a best friend for Dexter, but the timing never seemed right. Enter COVID-19. Megan was suddenly working from home and had the flexibility to raise a puppy. They came across Scout, previously called 'Skittles' by the rescue foundation, and in June of 2020 he was flown from Houston, TX to Seattle, WA to meet his forever family.

After living together for a few years, Megan and Jordan knew it was time to find a home of their own. They searched for several months and submitted 7 offers until finally stumbling across the perfect house in Bothell, Washington. They loved it from the moment they toured it and submitted an offer on the same day, which was accepted later that evening! They moved in 6 weeks later and have had so much fun making it into their own sweet, little home.

Jordan told Megan that she needed to pack an overnight bag for a surprise trip the next day. He gave no details about what they would be doing or where they would be going other than the dogs would be coming. The next day they hopped in the truck and headed East until arriving at a dreamy vacation rental overlooking the Columbia River Gorge. They went to the neighboring Cave B Estate Winery for a wine tasting, and then went back to the rental to "check on the dogs" before going to dinner. Jordan brought Megan to a scenic spot, got on one knee, and gave a speech so sweet that she immediately burst into tears.
